Recognition at Government Level
At the level of the Canadian government (Federal)
First of all, the Department of Development and Human Resources Canada, the Department of Employment and Immigration Canada accredit the training of the CMDQ (article 118.5-118.6.) Therefore, the tuition fees are eligible for a monthly tax credit under the professional training. See the Canadian Government Accreditation page for the CMDQ Federal Accreditation.
At the Quebec provincial government level
Second of all, the AMCC as a training organization approved by Emploi-Quebec and the Ministère du Revenu du Quebec (see end of sub-paragraph IV of section 337 of the Taxation Act.) Indeed, the AMCC is recognized as an institution providing education (other than that provided for the purpose of granting university credits) which allows “to acquire and / or improve the knowledge necessary for the exercise of a recognized profession”. Therefore, your employer may assume the training expenses that will be deductible from his contributions. In addition, tuition fees are eligible for a tax deduction.
Professional Level
Finally, joining a professional association enables the patients to receive a refund from their private insurance companies. This does not, however, constitute a legal acknowledgement from the Department of Education or the Office des Professions du Québec.
The education offered at the College is internationally recognized by numerous associations. Our students should have no trouble finding and joining an association in France, Canada and the USA. Be aware that some of these associations may ask you to take a theoretical or practical exam to become a member.

International Worldwide Accreditation
Our school is accredited by the IPHM
The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) has been developed to provide the general public and health care professionals with a body of regulated professionals, all hold relevant qualifications or experience to recognised levels. All our IPHM members are individually assessed and checked by IPHM so that you know that the service they offer is accountable and reliable.
Switzerland
In Switzerland, the naturopathic profession has been subject to a federal diploma and exam since 2015. The conditions for admission to the examination are governed by the OrTra MA (Organisation du Monde du Travail de la Médecine Alternative Suisse).
The profession of Naturopath currently includes four different disciplines:
– Ayurvedic medicine
– Homeopathy
– Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM
– Traditional European Natural Medicine
Naturopaths already in practice do not have to take courses again but have to write a case study, in which they document very precisely the concrete treatment and care of a patient and analyze his or her own attitude. The examination itself consists of a discussion of the case study.
Naturopathy is not reimbursed by basic insurance, but some additional insurance covers it.

AMCC graduate students can apply for and obtain membership in this union, even if, according to their legislation, the recommended schools are located in France only.
